Critical minerals exploration: Co-creating a market-leading sustainability strategy

Kingsrose Mining is setting new standards in responsible critical minerals exploration, with sustainability at the heart of everything they do. The Tidal team partnered with senior leaders at Kingsrose to develop a concept for a sustainability strategy that is market-leading, incorporating innovative practices, alignment with industry standards, and a forward-thinking approach that sets it apart from competitors. The challenge was to also ensure it was fit for purpose and fully deliverable.

Tidal coached Kingsrose through a series of workshops to co-create this strategy across the organization, ensuring shared ownership across different departments. One notable breakthrough was the alignment between the sustainability and exploration teams, which led to the creation of cross-functional initiatives, such as key message sheets dedicated to implementing key aspects of the strategy. The strategy is summarized by the acronym SCS™: Setting the Standard; Consent is Key; and Shared Stakes, Shared Success.

Tidal’s ongoing expertise continues to support Kingsrose in delivering this strategy effectively through tailored plans and tactics, navigating a complex multi-stakeholder environment with clarity and cohesion.

Tidal’s strategic expertise has proven invaluable in creating a global first in the market. We have a market leading, progressive Sustainability strategy.
